The Paperboy Project
I ended up selling the cabinet empty but ill build another eventually. My plan is to use actual BMX handlebars inside a 3d printed case housing a usb star wars yoke inside. I would limit it to only turn left and right. I still have the handlebars and a 3d printed piece that houses a tiny arcade button to throw the papers.
Since I am a HUGE fan of the movie RAD I decided to create my own artwork that is RAD inspired.
I built my own cabinet since I already had sourced a nice Paperboy control panel. Im not the best carpenter but its good enough I think.
Thats where this story ends for this cabinet. I will however do this project again in the near future, but im thinking the same art package but in a 720 cabinet. A BMX game next to a skateboarding game, identical cabinets would look sick. For now here is two pics I found on the internet I thought were cool.
